Payment

Luna Integrative Psychiatry is a direct-pay practice, insurance is not required or accepted.

For you, this means that you are seen quicker and more efficiently. No 3-6 month waiting to see someone. 

Direct-pay also allows your care to be guided by clinical needs rather than insurance requirements.

We can provider longer evaluations, flexible follow-up scheduling, and thoughtful treatment planning without limitations.

 

Superbills (visit receipts) are provided at the end of each visit by email or printed for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Some insurances reimburse up to 50%. If you any questions at all about billing, feel free to email our billing manager at aj@lunapsychclinic.com. We will guide you through the process and assist as much as possible.

1. Receive your superbill after your visit

After your visit, your provider will email your superbill receipt 

2. Submit to your insurance company

You will then submit the superbill directly to your insurance provider, either online or by mail, following their instructions for out-of-network claims. 

3. Wait for a response from  your insurer

Your insurance company will review the claim and determines if any reimbursement is available. If payment is approved, it will be sent directly to you.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt for your visit. It includes information like the type of appointment you had, and the service codes used by insurance companies. You may choose to submit a superbill to your insurance plan to request a possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether you receive reimbursement, and how much, depends entirely on your individual insurance plan.
